Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)
An overview of ICSI and its role in treating male factor or unexplained infertility.

ICSI is a specialized technique used during IVF, commonly recommended for male factor or in cases of unexplained infertility. The process involves an embryologist identifying motile sperm under the microscope and carefully injecting a single sperm into each mature egg.
Why choose ICSI?
Helps overcome low sperm count, motility, or abnormal shape
Often used in cases of unexplained infertility
Increases fertilization success, especially when previous IVF cycles have had poor fertilization
Performed successfully in over two-thirds of IVF cycles at Atlantic Fertility
